DERRICK HAMMETT
Derrick has grown up in York Region and has called Aurora home for the past 25 years. I understand the many benefits of life in York Region - from the numerous acres to local events and recreation.
As a graduate of Computer Technology, I began my career in Technical Support and moving into Sales & Marketing with many High Tech Companies. As my personal life changed dramatically, I redeveloped a career in the A/V Automation industry where I worked with clients on automating their multi-million dollar homes and businesses. I realized the corporate world was changing and not in the way I wanted in order to support clients.
It was at this time I realized I needed to find my true passion and excitement and provide the level of service and support that I expected. The two passions came together - my interest in Real Estate and passion for customers. I am proud to supply an exemplary service and have been rewarded with clients' recommendations and support to be awarded "Ultimate Service Award" by Coldwell Banker.
I continue to strive to upgrade services and knowledge and recently been awarded both the GUILD and Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist designations. This ensures my clients are receiving the best representation and marketing initiatives. In 2021 I continue to update my credentials as complete my Broker course.
